Hello I have been breastfeeding for 7 1/2 week...

Hello I have been breastfeeding for 7 1/2 weeks now and have just developed mastitis. It has gotten bad enough that I have a green sticky discharge and have had to go on antibiotics. I wasn't happy about doing this as it affects you breast milk. My son is now seeing the affects of this and has diahrea and its upsetting him (he gives a painful cry often, even when feeding) Has anyone else gone through this & not gone on to antibiotics and come through ok ??? I worried that if I get it again, I will be on them again & I really don't want to........ But I don't want it to develop further. I have always & still do the usual massage whilst feeding, express off after the feed & massage whilst in the shower, but to no avail, I still developed mastitis.... Any suggestions out there ?? Shell
